Early start to catch the boat to Ko Pi Pi Island where the film "The Beach" was shot. Not quite the serenity of the film as I joined the hundreds to board our boat and later we all snorkelled until some maniac fed the fish biscuits and they began eating our ears!
In the evening I took a run on a moped through the town with "Aussie Michael" from our hostel. On one moped I counted three people and a dog! The thing was the dog looked like it had been doing this all its life and I'm sure the wee rascal even gave me a paw up to indicate so.
