Day 72 Gisborne (The Day After the Celebrations)

The words "Never Again" were regularly uttered all morning and I'm not talking about trampolines!
In the afternoon I marvelled at how much sleeping young Thistle was able to do and looked on in disdain by Lady her mother.

So with a rather lacklustre morning and energy levels at seventy percent by afternoon we went to the beach for a restorative swim.
Sharon and Arran have been terrific hosts for the xmas and new year and it was great to have a familiar face over the festive. Having sourced an internet connection and updated the blog I now pack up the car to make my way towards the South Island from tomorrow. Onwards ever onwards!
