Day 97 NZ Kayak School (Day Two)

Back early in the morning to the pool for our roll sessions and it was one of those days where it all just clicked for me. No roll proved too difficult and I began to pracitice unassisted. When you did hit trouble which I eventually did you banged three times on your kayak, held your breath and waited to be rescued!

As is often the way it was all going too well and the afternoon out on the river I struggled as much with tiredness as the conditions themselves. Matt our instructor continued to drive us hard and its a reflection of this course that no time is wated. We were here to receive the best of training and that we did.
