My plane today to Kota Kinabulu in the Sabah region of Malysian - Borneo would be none other than the autographed official low cost airline of Manchester United. I'd ended up late to catch the check in again and was so releived to have caught the flight. As I left the check in desk I felt a hundred pairs of eyes burn into me (I'd jumped the que in my haste).
Ate with the locals on my arrival. Good chicken curry rice.
Took a wander. Colourful place.
The shutters came down over the pavements....a sure sign the heavens were soon to open...and they did. Boy it can rain here. Back to the hostel where I managed to get on a trek commencing tomorrow of the mighty Mount Kinabalu ...half the height of Everest. I went back out and ate some more. I'd need the energy!
