Flew from Cambodia to Vietnam today and on approaching the centre of Saigon (now called Ho Chi Minh) all three million mopeds in this city seemed to be going that way.Out of the chaos and into my airconditioned room (Vietnam does not really do hostels). Went out for some vietnamese food, said "no thanks" to a couple of hundred street vendors selling anything from nodding donkeys to photocopied books and then made ready for tomorrows expedition to the Cu Chi tunnels. .... claustraphobia here I come..........
